Rule 41
Adoption of protective measures
The employer shall adopt the following protective measures to protect workers or other persons from possible accidents caused by dangerous machines, tools or equipment connected to the workplace:-
(a) Employ only trained and experienced workers to operate any machine in the workplace or inspect, lubricate or repair any part of any machine or equipment in operation,
(b) Arrange for the persons who go to see or inspect the machinery tools or equipment installed in the workplace to enter the place only by wearing radiation blocking glasses, helmets and other necessary protective clothing and specify the location limits so that they are not allowed to touch or come close to such machinery tools or equipment. Wearing a checkerboard,
(c) Presses operated by hydraulic pressure and other devices connected to the workplace, milling machines used in the metal industry, Ligotin machines, circular Slayton printing machines, etc., should be operated by trained and experienced persons only,
(d) providing a suitable guardrail for safety around the wheels, pulleys, pulleys, gears, drums, clutches, driving welts or power generators, motors or other dangerous machinery or equipment operating the machine,
(e) Gas welding or arc welding or any other similar operation should be carried out in a separate safe place so as not to affect the general public,
(f) To use only the necessary tools and equipment used for maintenance and repair in undamaged condition,
(G) Electrical equipment used in the operation of machinery equipment should be regularly checked and kept in good condition so that there is no leakage of electricity,
(h) Arranging a separate parking or a safe place to keep the goods so that the general public is not affected during the operation of the workshop.
